This system provides 295HP and 260FT/LBS torque to a 2.8L 30 valve Audi V6 through use of an Eaton M62 supercharger and custom engine control software. This is a fantastic kit, Tony and his team did a great job on putting together all the pieces. Quality of each individual part is excellent, whether it’s the custom CNC’d aluminum parts or the high flow injectors or the blower itself. The software was developed in conjunction with GIAC who are experts in developing performance software for German automobiles. GIAC Reference page on PES G2 Kit The power is great, smooth and steady through the lower revs, but with a big kick as the engine winds up. What is amazing is how drivable and well behaved the system is. Unlike other cars I’ve built before with performance carbs/cams/software, with this system the car can be driven around on 1/4 throttle by your grandmother and she’d never know unless she made the mistake of stomping the pedal to the floor. It integrates very nicely into the factory engine systems, retaining virtually everything except of course the variable plenum system which goes away along with the stock manifold. Everything else is stock and remains on your car. This kit was installed new in 2002. It is in excellent condition, and includes virtually all the parts in the original kit with tiny exceptions as noted below. It has about 40K miles on it. The car was never raced or tracked, most driving was either long highway trips or light-duty local errands. No hard racing, or heavy stop-and-go rush hour traffic. I also have the custom GIAC Tiptronic chip to match for automatic transmissions (see other page). All major parts have been cleaned and are ready for installation: · Eaton Supercharger & custom PES intake manifold · High flow RC Racing fuel injectors · Engine software for ECU part number 4D0 907 551 AH · Custom brackets for coil packs, power steering pump · NGK Performance Plugs — The high performance spark plugs provided by PES are still with the kit and brand new, as I ran stock spark plugs per the recommendations. · Audi 4.0 bar fuel pressure regulator · All the nuts & bolts you will need. · Full PES installation CD — I am also including a full color printed version of the installation manual with scribbled hand notes around difficult areas and with some specific tips at specific steps. This was hugely helpful when I did the process over to restore the car to stock as well. What is different from a new kit..? · Missing one small vacuum T fitting (left on my car when uninstalled) · You’ll want to buy a new serpentine belt. This is a standard Goodyear part available fairly cheaply anywhere - the original is included with box to identify it but obviously has some miles on it. · Includes 2 ECU chips with different revs - one slightly richer, and one slightly leaner. Tony sent the second chip during my initial install as my motor was running just slightly rich. · You will need your ECU socketed to take GIAC chips. · My car uses ECU part number 4D0 907 551 AH. If you have a different ECU you may require a slightly different software rev. This kit installs extremely easily, taking about one long day or 2 easy ones. Most of the tasks are fairly simple, the only challenges are with reach and access in tight places —specifically the serpentine idler pulley and some of the work around the throttle body back against the bulkhead. The removal is exactly the reverse process and the car can be restored perfectly to stock just as easily. Current list price on this system is $4995, although PES has regular sale prices of about $4000 and used systems seem to sell anywhere between $2K (a steal if it all is there and works) to 3.5K. I’m looking for a reasonable offer, as to quote another G2 owner “These SCs are tanks and will last forever”. Although I am in no hurry right now, the first reasonable offer will take it.
